Rainy's musical journey was inspired by the legendary artist, Jay Chou. It was through Jay Chou's movie "Secret (2007)" that he discovered the captivating beauty of the piano. Despite not having received formal music training during his upbringing, he studied and passed "Grade 5 Music Theory" from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in 2011.

In high school, he teamed up with equally enthusiastic schoolmates to establish their own band, which they named "Spirit". They devoted countless hours to practice and honed their skills. They even ventured into songwriting, creating original compositions for their performances.
